Did you know?
$10.00 will buy a leash or collar for one of our dogs
$20.00 will buy heartguard and frontline for one month to protect one dog.
$30.00 will buy a dog bed, something our dogs may never have had until they come into rescue.
$50.00 will feed a medium size dog a good quality dog food for a month.
$70.00 will buy a first round of vaccines for a new puppy
$200.00 will spay or neuter one dog so we can start to make a dent in the overpopulation
Issue. The money we pay our southern rescue partners also helps them spay the mom when puppies have been surrendered to them, and to provide education and support to the families regarding preventatives and spay/neuter.
$600.00 will treat a dog for heartworm disease so they can live a long and healthy life.
*The “average” dog costs us $450.00 to care for while in our rescue, so you can see that fundraising is so important so we can continue to save lives. We welcome your ideas and your support. When we need to provide medical care “over and above”, or boarding, training support, etc this number skyrockets. When we commit to a dog, we will always do everything we can to enrich their life. One dog has cost us over $8,000.00 this year*
