Angel - in Maine!
Posted June 2025
This darling little boy is an approximately 3 year old Yorkshire or Norfolk Terrier mix who weighs 17 lbs. Angel is a southern rescue pup, he was found as a stray and the original owner could not be located. He spent time in his southern foster home with several other dogs and did great with all of them. Since arriving in Maine a few weeks ago he has been with a foster family who have two cats, one of which he is totally fine with however the other cat is of a much more timid nature and not enjoying Angel’s advances. It was discovered shortly after he was transported to us that he had a urinary tract infection, he was treated with antibiotics for that and the recent recheck showed no signs of infection.
what his foster family has to say....
"There are a few things we think would be the best for him in an ideal world. Obviously we think no cats, or possibly a very dog savvy chill cat. We think he would love to have another playful dog in the house or children who could play and snuggle with him. He did great as anticipated when our grandchildren (12 & 9 years old) spent the night, he wanted to be at their side all the time. He’s energetic and so someone who can walk him, a fenced yard, or trips to doggie daycare to help him get his energy out. Any home that would love him will work because he is a really smart, great dog who deserves it!"

If you have interest in meeting Angel or any of our cuties, please fill out the adoption application.

Please note, we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(si in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
