Bitsy - in Maine!

Bitsy is a one year old bully breed mix who weighs approximately 50 lbs.

She is great with other dogs and even likes cats. She is housebroken and crate trained. She would do best with older kids because she doesn’t realize how strong she is and might knock down a small child with her exuberance.

There are no strangers in Bitsy’s world, she loves everyone she meets. She was found as a stray and luckily was saved by our southern rescue partners.

In her Maine foster home she is doing amazing! She is living with children and cats and loves everyone. She can be a little nerved up meeting new people, especially men, but with a calm introduction and maybe a treat, she makes friends quickly.  Bitsy has been working on leash manners and is loving life! She is crate-trained and house-trained, and ready to find FURever love!

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
