Flynn
This story will rip your heart out. Our rescue partner was driving in a rural area on a mission to help other dogs in need of rescue. As she was driving down the road, this dog was crossing the road slowly. Our friend slowed down to let her cross but as soon as she passed the dog started running after the van. She didn’t want to stop because she was already full with other dogs but once she started following the van she knew she had no choice. Snow White gave birth shortly after to 11 gorgeous pups on August 7th. They are 3 1/2 months old and weigh about 10 lbs each. Mom appears to be a shepherd/retriver mix (her hair is a little longer than a lab and she has a longer face like a shepherd). No idea about their breed mix but they are 100% adorable, we do know that!

Dex and his siblings are turning 4 months old this week. They are joyful, fun pups who were lucky to be born in one of our southern partner rescues after their mom Dazzle was found as a stray.
The pups are growing up with good socialization with humans and other dogs and will be ready to come north soon. Mom is listed as a mountain cur mix and is a medium-size brindle dog who is happy and grateful and a wonderful mom.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine and it is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
