Tessie - in Maine!

It seriously does not get any cuter than this! Tessie is a 6- month old Jack Russell/Wire-haired terrier mix and was recently adopted from our rescue but returned because she is "too big" to travel on airplanes as the former family does often. She weighs in at a whopping 11 lbs, and is loving life with her foster family.

Tessie is a smart puppy and learns quickly but she's no couch potato. She's great with people and other dogs. She has the typical nervous behavior of a lot of small dogs, and a touch of separation anxiety so a family who is home often will be ideal for her.  This little lady loves everyone she meets and is a happy  girl.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
