Flynn
FOSTER or FOREVER home needed!
Posted January 2023
Flynn is a gorgeous Blue Heeler (commonly known as a cattle dog) who is 2 years old and a petite 25 lbs. Like all dogs of his breed, he’s a busy guy – this one is cute as a button and just a love bug! His southern family couldn’t keep him and he’s looking for a foster or forever family in Maine so we can get this guy north.
Flynn is house-trained, crate-trained and friendly with other dogs his size or bigger – he is too bossy to live with smaller dogs and cats. The ideal home for Flynn would be an active couple or a family with children age 10 and up. He has met smaller children and done fine but he has a puppyish habit of taking your arm in his mouth to play with you when you get him riled up – he does not attempt to bite but it could be unnerving to little kiddos.
Flynn’s leash manners are OK but he is a quick learner so with training and the right tools he will do great. He’s so smart that he waits for the “OK” cue before he goes into the house after a walk.
He’s smart AND sweet, a great combination!
If you are interested in Flynn or any of our cuties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
