Freckles -in Maine

This sweet girl is a little bit shy at first and has been through some transitions in her life. Freckles is a beautiful brown and white combo and is approx. 7 months old. She is 30 lbs but should put on a little bit more as she grows up. She is good with dogs and cats/  When she was rescued she had an infection in her neck but that has healed nicely and you almost can’t tell any more. She is such a love. Freckles is living with two male dogs and two teen humans in foster. She would enjoy having another dog that will play with her but we think she will adjust as an "only" as well. 
She has come so far in just a short time and we know that in the right home she will absolutely thrive.  She does not enjoy children , will bark, growl and retreat from fast-moving little humans so we think older kids or an adult home will be great. 

Freckles has the most expressive face and is so endearing. She will sit with you or next to you and will randomly come over and kiss your leg. It's the sweetest!

Freckles LOVES toys and will need a good selection of toys for hefty chewers. She has found the occasional slipper so she will need some good puppy-proofing. She sleeps nicely in her crate and she is making great progress with house-training.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential facmily will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
