Henry  - in Maine!

Henry is no dummy! He is a dog that wanted to be rescued! Our southern partner rescuer was trying to catch a pregnant dog and her puppies and while she was waiting for them, Henry walked right into the trap! She couldn’t leave him behind, of course.! Henry gives kisses and is just the sweetest. He is 9 months old and 35-40 lbs. He is listed as a cattle dog mix  but we think there could be some greyhound or whippet in there too. He gets along great with dogs and there are no strangers in Henry's world. He met a cat at the vet's office and didn't care at all about her.

He is in foster with us in Maine and doing really well. He has discovered the joys of having a dog bed (even if his foster sister actually owns it ; 0 ) and is enjoying playing and having fun.  He is a petite and sweet little guy!

Please note:  we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
