Ida - in Maine!
Posted Feb 2022
Ida is a beautiful catahoula mix with is 2-3 yrs old and weighs 48 lbs. Pictures don’t do her coloring justice, and the white tip on her tail gets going so fast you can’t even see it when she gets a wiggle butt!
Ida is house-trained, crate-trained and does well in the car. She walks well on a leash and likes to go on adventures around the neighborhood. She is a real player and would do great with an active family. A fenced yard would be a big bonus for a sweet and busy girl like Ida.
Ida does well with male dogs around her size but plays too rough with small dogs. She wants to be the boss in most situations and would do great with a submissive dog or she would do fine as an “only”.
If you have interest in meeting Ida or any of our sweeties please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England.
It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
