Jade

Jade is a petite little lady at 40 lbs and is 8-9 yrs old. She appears to be a Spitz mix. She has lived as an "only" and with other dogs and does well in either circumstance. She is a people lover so will soakk up all the love and attention she can get in her “middle age” years and beyond.
She likes to bury her treats, her heartworm pills, and anything she can find. She likes to ride in the car, actually LOVES to go for rides and go shopping. Jade walks well on a leash, is housetrained and doesn’t need to use a crate at home any more; she does get a little anxious when left alone – not destructive but will take some time to get used to a new home and new schedule. She’ll go anywhere with her people so she’s hoping to find a loving family to take her lots of places.
Jade gets along well with other dogs and cats. She has been around a dog-savvy toddler but a lot of busy activity can make her a little nervous so older children or an adult home would be best for her. Jade was surrendered to our southern partner rescue after her owner had to move in with family members; Jade was not fond of their chickens so her life almost ended because of that. So a poultry-free home is a must!
If you'd like to meet this sweet girl or any of our wonderful dogs, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
