Jaki - in Maine!
Newest update: March 2021
This pretty lady is 10 years old and was SO loved by her human dad who recently passed away. Jaki is a petite little lady at 40 lbs and is so confused because she has been uprooted after losing her dad.
She walks well on a leash and is housetrained and crate-trained.
We'd love to honor Jaki's dad by finding a great home for this senior sweetie .
Since joining her Maine foster home Jaki has been coming out of her shell little by little. She enjoyed going to the beach and meeting new dogs and new people. She is definitely one who bonds with her humans above all else. She shows some jealousy regarding the dog and cat in the home when they want to get affection from her owners so we feel Jaki needs to be an "only". She is a sensitive soul who only knew one home her whole life so this has been a lot of upheavel for her. She is a very special girl!
If interested in meeting Jake or any of our sweeties, please fill out the adoption application.
Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
