Mason’s sister Madison came to Maine and was recently adopted, now it’s Mason’s turn. He’s a sweet medium-sized lab mix at 40 lbs. He is 9 moths old and learning to trust humans. He started out very insecure and is doing better day by day with his southern foster family. He is very food-motivated and is becoming more trusting with consistency (and treats in your pocket!)

 

Mason is house-trained, crate-trained and walks well on leash. He is great with cats and dogs and most likely would do best in a home with other confident dogs.

 

Mason does not like being grabbed by the collar, but does love a good back scratch!Mason likes children – older kids who can help with consistency would be ideal.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout Maine and it is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
