Porter - in Maine!

Porter is a handsome one year old lab mix – one of his parents must have been a catahoula because his brother and sister have the gorgeous merle coats.  Porter gets along great with other dogs and enjoys meeting new people.  Porter was rescued by our southern partners and  he has arrived in his Maine foster home.

Everything appears new to him but he is adjusting, learning to walk on leash, gets along with the dog and cat in the foster home, and likes his crate! He is such a super sweet boy, and we think he will love a new family that has at least one dog in the home.

3/20 update - Porter is doing amazing and he is loving his Maine life. He can be a little nervous in some new situations but looks to his dog buddy for reassurance. We think a home with another dog already there would be ideal for him and one who likes adventures as much as Porter does!

Please note: We do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout Maine. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
