Rhea - in Maine!

This very special soul has the most beautiful eyes and the sweetest spirit. She is 10 months old and 42 lbs, possibly a black mouth cur mix. She also happens to have three legs, but don't tell this girl that it should slow her down. She loves to play with other dogs and to follow her humans; she does tire a bit more easily than the other dogs but after a short rest she is ready to go again. 

 

Rhea's leg was removed after she was run over by a car and they couldn't save her leg, so she is a fairly recent amputee. She has adapted like a champ!

 

Rhea is smart and strong-willed and a little bit naughty; she will get into trash or try to counter-surf if left alone.  She is fine with dog-savvy cats who put her in her place, and she responds to "leave it".
