Scrappy Doo is a 1.5 year old, 26 lb Schnauzer mix looking to find a new family as his former owner had some personal health issues making it very hard to give Scrappy the time and exercise he craves! 

 

This boy is OH so sweet and loving with LOTS of energy and a zest for life!  Scrappy LOVES his toys and will chase and throw them in the air to give himself and his new family some entertainment! Scrappy needs an active home to get both physical and mental exercise, he would likely really enjoy dog sports/agility and he is very food & treat motivated. He uses a slow feeder bowl designed to help him not bolt down his food too fast. 

 

Scrappy is crate & housetrained, and he has previously lived with cats and other dogs. We  also think he could be fine as an only dog in the home, he really just wants to be someone's BFF!

 

Scrappy attends doggy day care and loves his pup friends, sometimes a little too much, but he gets along well with all shapes and sizes of furry friends.

Please note: we do not have a physical facility where the dogs are housed; they are cared for in our wonderful foster network throughout New England. It is our expectation that, once approved, a potential family will meet the dog(s) in the foster setting where they are feeling safe and loved.
